In honor of Thanksgiving, I want to take a minute to reflect on how grateful I am for our Liberty Dance Center community.
Don’t get me wrong, at least once a day I reflect in awe on the magic of my dream coming true and how lucky I am to have such an awesome team to work with and amazing kiddos to teach. But today I want to reflect on the people behind the scenes…YOU, the dance parents.
As a parent myself (I have 2 boys, Mason age 12 and Declan age 9), I know first hand how much time our kiddos spend with their coaches and/or teachers at the sports they love and/or at school or other favorite activities.
Truth be told, during the week, my boys spend more time with coaches and teachers than they do me or my husband! So I know the importance of finding organizations that you can trust will not only provide a great education and skill development, but that have the best interest of my kids at heart…both as an athlete/student AND as a person!

So parents, I want to thank YOU for trusting us. And thank YOU for aaaalllllllll that you do behind the scenes, that we and your kiddos may never see. But we know. We know that you make sacrifices in order to make the investment in your kids.
We know that you drive, drop off, wait and pick up day in and day out. We know that you stay up late washing that dance leotard or uniform so your kid has it ready for the next day. We know that your calendar looks like a game of tetris, gracefully (and let’s be real, sometimes not so gracefully, ha!) “making it all work.”
Because of you, your kids are learning and growing and blossoming into amazing young adults. It is a true honor and privilege to get the opportunity to work with your kids. We hope you know that is an honor we don’t take lightly.
Thank you. Thank you for showing up for your kids day in and day out. For showing up for our community. And for your constant support for Liberty Dance Center. It would be what it is today, without amazing people like all of you.
