January Events!
One of our core values at Liberty Dance Center is community service. Helping others is just part of who we are. In 2023, we were able to donate over $4,000 to the MACC fund for lifesaving childhood cancer research, donate art supplies to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin for children fighting cancer, donate to every school fundraiser or event we were asked to participate in, collect over 200 gifts for Christmas Clearing Council, donate over $6,000 to local schools and organizations, collect many coats, hats and mittens to keep Wisconsinites warm, and much more.
This is all possible because of YOU… our awesome dance family that makes up the kindest, most giving community out there. We appreciate all that you do, all your generosity and dedication, and your willingness to share your beautiful children with us in the dance classroom!
Here are two more ways you can support our mission of community service in January and have fun doing so!
Blood Drive
If you were unable to attend the January 6th blood drive, please consider donating blood or platelets at a time that works for you at any Versiti Blood Center location. There is a Versiti Blood Center conveniently located in downtown Waukesha!
Have a Versiti staff member take your photo and you can send it to our Liberty Dance Center email to be forwarded to Miss Lori. She is an active blood donation advocate and would love to feature you in her social media!
ROYAL BALL FOR SAINT BALDRICK’S
This is an event you will NOT want to miss! It will take place at Liberty Dance Center from 5-8pm on January 27th. All funds raised at the event will go directly to Saint Baldrick’s Foundation, the most impactful childhood cancer research non-profit in the country! For a $10 minimum donation per family, your night includes:
- Meet and greet/photo ops with Wisconsin royalty…pageant beauty queens from across the state!
- Dancing in our decorated “ballroom”
- Mingle with princesses and other royal characters
- Light refreshments
- Games and face painting
- Silent auction
